Nice. I find that now I can go for hours if I keep my HR round 130 / 140. Any higher and it affects just how long I can carry on for. Problem is finding a stretch of dirt that long...

......doing a huge amount of vertical work......painting the intetior of house.......so doing some weight lifting work also. Tomorrow back on bike.

I've lost the 2 kilos i picked up last week already and all i did was remodeling our kitchen, but yes two full days of working from 6h to 20h building cupboards tiling etc gave me one hell of a workout.

 

Haven't even been close to the bike this week.

My strategy is kicking in.

 

I burned 2400 calories on day 1 of my tour de Klein Karoo.

 

I am so thin now that I almost fell between the slats of the bench at the coffee shop in De Rust.

You'll have to do a bit of a write up about the trip, I'm very keen to give something like this a try myself. (the ride, not falling through the bench ;) :P )

I am so thin now that I almost fell between the slats of the bench at the coffee shop in De Rust.

I also burnt about 2000 calories this week - I left the pizza in the oven for too long. [emoji12]

Ride faster tomrow - you will burn more calories that way...

 

I am down to 62.5 as of lunchtime today.... 3 rides in 24 hours....

 

PS - you do know how many calories are on 1 kg of blubber don't you...  7170 to be exact....
