Watermelon for lunch for the last 3 days. I am a sore loser

The diet needs to be sustainable...watermelon so lekker but you cant live like that.

Yes i'm also jealous...no fresh watermelon here in winter

control the mind and eat less "junk" after a ride... all the pudding and fruit cake from christmas should be finished by now anyway.

Oh no, that's not all I eat, just when I have an urge to "cheat"

My typical day is as follows:

Breakfast: Eggs and 2 rashers bacon with veggies

Lunch: Small portion protein or large portion fruit (often watermelon due to it's re-hydrating qualities)

Dinner: Large portion protein with lots of veggies.

I use lunch to get rid of dinner cravings. I'll stuff myself with fruit and by the time dinner comes round, I'm too full to finish my plate.

It's worked well so far

It's never finished - I found out on day 3 of our Jhb-Dbn tour that we had fruit (Christmas) cake in the food bins. Awesome food to snack on, on long rides. Easy to swallow and packed with plenty vooma.

I had a dud weigh in this morning- 72.8

I'm suspecting I'll end somewhere around there to 73 on Monday if I can behave. Weekends are always the most difficult
