dirtypot Posted February 12, 2016 Share Well, at $27 the shifter is hardly where you'll be saving a ton (I estimate a R200 - R300 saving, which is probably not worth the hassle vs getting a new, warranteed part and selling your old bit for a hundy). I prefer the higher end derailer, shifter and crank to a point but I buy the cheapest cassette and chain. In my experience they last just as long.
