Squier Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 Anyone been running Onza Ibex tyres that can offer some first hand advice. I'm currently running a Maxxis Ardent in the front, but time has come to replace. I've been very happy with the Ardent, but have a new Ibex lying around so was thinking of just popping it on. The Ibex does seem a bit more aggressive than the Ardent though. Any thoughts?
Duane_Bosch Posted March 23, 2016 Posted March 23, 2016 I've got an Ibex on the front of my Reign. No problems what so ever. Very nice tire. To me the tread pattern looks like a Minion and a High Roller had a baby.

Ardent works well as a rear, rolls a lot better than an Ibex. It can work up front as well, but you've got to lean it aggressively or you'll come short.
