Lots of potholes?

Not so much big potholes as bad road surface.

The road has been patched.  But so bad it feels like you ride through a field of anthills.  But on tar.

Two particular bad sections

You'll be fine.  Just be careful.

Thanks for the heads-up. Are you talking about the section of the yellow road after the 'Brondal turn-off'? The whole of that section, or one particular bit?

Be VERY careful on the Heideleiers road.  It is NOT in a good condition.

Enjoy the race!

Hopefully it will be dry this time!

Has the seeding sms's gone out? There was talk of some guys receiving seeding notices but I haven't received anything?

So it seems they did not get enough team entries this year so the teams just rolling with the amateur open.

Two weeks to go, good weekend of suffering in Knysna in preparation!

Drove stage 1 (Nelspruit to White River) on Saturday morning, as the guys mentioned earlier, once you turn off the Lydenburg rd towards WR, the road surface is really crappy until you turn into the Sabie rd toward WR again.

No big potholes but broken top, its going to be a bumpy ride

Me too! I'm looking back at the training diary and telling myself, the training was done, it's just an abrupt, unplanned taper program.......

Hopefully we come right in time.
