If you look carefully you can see a person in that shot, it should give an idea of what happens on that part of the trail and of the scale.

Literally thousands of rocks have been carried and dug into place. And there are bits there where the best way to get up the slope is to crawl...

Earlier today Deon made a comment that "maybe we should stone line one of the berms". I tried to kill him on the spot but he is far faster than he looks...

Looks like it is high up the slope and towards Silvermine. Is it perhaps the much dreamed of singletrack link between Tokai and Silvermine?

I'm looking forward to coming down at Xmas time, are there any plans for a 1 month holiday season ticket or will I have to pay every time I enter. I haven't been to Tokai since it destroyed my wrist in Dec 2014, so am looking forward to seeing the changes.

I also use Eddies move when being overtaken by a bunch of chicks or kids. Still can't get my unfit self up a mountain very fast.

you can get annual permits for R250 if you go together. Or something like that, my mom did it for me (was like an episode of back to the future)

how beeg?

like those things at conties or paarl?

Not sure but if you hit the biggest one fast you will travel a long way both vertically and horizontally.

At a guess, if you hit it properly, you will land over 10 meters down the trail and and around the same amount lower than your take off point. On rocks. With no run off, escape route or soft place to land.

My kind of stuff ;)

Only kidding, just reading the above caused my nuts to shrink a little. No need to call me out on this one.

If it makes you feel better I have fallen over several times just walking on that bit.
