It is at Cash Converters , still in the box ( yeh , I know ) , but if it is a GOOD price in principle , I will follow it up regarding guarantee , etc

I tried the Google thing . Good reviews, but no values . Seem like it was replaced with the 810 .

Yeah I'd say go for it...maybe pull a "MCT" and re-sell it on the hub for profit.

At R1000 if its faulty You can take it to GArmin for repairs. They will either fix it or give youthe option  of a warranty upgrade for <R2000.

I can confirm that, did it this week Monday and have a shiny new 810 in my possession at a mere 1975 ZA rondt

 

EDIT:- flip I was shocked at the new price of that 'bundle' - not far off 10 grand I tell you

Whilst garmin has very good after sales service they do have a very crappy pricing model.

 

last year they pushed up the price of the Edge520 thrice !!
