The only real question that needs answering is whether or not Rachel is going to make it ten in a row?

It'll be a major upset if she doesn't. No one is even close. I'll put money on a perfect season for her. All she needs to do is keep it upright.

Agreed. I think Tracey and Manon are both racing for second. Rachel is totally on a different level to the rest of the ladies. Rachel could very well aim for a top 20 if she were racing among the men. She's just that good!

this new off camber section is either going to end up wild...or just become tame once a regular path has been set

my girl is back on Sunday also.....but I dont think anyone has anything on rachel unfortunately...which kind of makes the girls race boring

This track is such a mixture - rather boring stuff now mixed up with crazy new lines  - all in the wet. Weather is apparently k@k the whole weekend. Its going to be interesting....

They should just have her race in the U23 Men category, so that the other women have a chance to get onto the top step of the podium.

Her winning margins are just crazy.

I checked... she would have been in 72nd position in the mens race at Fort William...

The other girls have to pull finger. that's all there is to it really.

Apparently some are not happy with the course.

The UCI released this: “After the feedback from team managers from yesterday, some small modifications will be done on the course :

Marshall point 16 – Rock Garden : Filling up some holes and making it a little bit easier
Marshall point 19 : Open up the berm
Marshall point 23: Filling up some holes and making it a little bit easier”

The words "making it easier" are quite odd in the context of DH. I suspect its a bad translation and means something more like " to make it safer" . What you guys think?

Oops my bad. However Rachel is just so much better than the other girls though it's laughable that any of them should think that they stand a chance of toppling her.

Her elbow might still give her issues hence I figured she might not race. Even then she's racing for second too. It'd be nice podium if Tahnee, Tracey and Manon get on it along with the supremo Rachel!

WOW. That makes her INCREDIBLY fast. That's FAST. To put things into context Garlicke didn't make the top 80 big show and he's a PROPER fast racer.

So, what's the consensus on Gee Atherton? He's seems damn fast, but hasn't recently been able to convert that speed into consistent podium finishes.

There's also something about him that puts me off - maybe it's that permanent scowl of his.
