i wouldn't take bike buying advice from the gumtree pr tjikkie - but she's got a damn good point. a lot of unused bikes find their way from dusty garages to homes that care for them through the green and yellow.

Sooooo..

This really would make a nice Friday discussion!

Lets keep it going until then!!

(That is the only comment I could write on this silly Story!)

Wahahahahaha, 26 is lighter than 29... WTF?

I remember some 26ers that I owned that was double the weight of my 29er DualSus... Or so it felt anyway.. hahahaha

I really had a nice chuckle at some Cobbledick comments here.. (My favourite, DONT GOOGLE IT!)

How many did after reading that... EVERYONE! incl myself... hahaha

You build a 29er / 650b / 26er up with identical specs and let's say a carbon hardtail, the 26er will always be lighter.

I always find it amusing when periods say they moved from their 26er to their current 29er wonder bike, as a vast majority are coming off basic and poorly specced bikes onto their new and wonderfully specced and suspended 29ers .......there is your main improvement, not the majestic wheel sizE upgrade.

Just saying #Friday

I always knew we were paying too much for bikes around here...at only R 1,450 for a bike that, as the ad says, "Rides like a Dream!", I'm definitely keen... ;)
