The classifieds work great I'm an avid browser ...OK,my request....so in the Seller location it would be so much more informative if the seller specified location a little more detailed ...A province is a large place and all the seller had to do was include an area..Paarl ..Stellenbosch ...Muizemberg.

Detailed information is classified....

It might sound a little crazy but hear me out.

You could.

If you were interested in an item.

I don't know.

Maybe.

Ask the seller where he lives?

Yes  you are right.

BUT

Just saying where the seller is located can remove the following three massages and wasted time.

Buyer:  "The part looks nice, I am interested,  where are you located?"

Buyer. Waits a long time for reply, because the seller is doing  Munga training ride of 7 hours.

Seller:  "Hi I am in is place so-and-so"

Seller:  Waits some time for reply because buyer  is out riding with the kids

Buyer: "Thanks, but I am on the other side of this large province and  transport for the used narrow-wide chain ring is  just not worth it.

If the seller just said.

Western Cape, Stellenbosch, Die Boord, Saffraan Ave , next to Mediclinc

all of this would have been avoided.

Little exaggerated but I trust the idea comes  across.

Made my day!

I really really really really really really like you

And I want you, do you want me, do you want me, too?

I really really really really really really like you

And I want you, do you want me, do you want me, too?

Oh, did I say too much?

I'm so in my head

When we're out of touch

I really really really really really really like you

And I want you, do you want me, do you want me, too?

Hahaha

If my location only says Western Cape it does matter.  If I advertise something you would like to check out before buying and I live in Murraysburg (Western Cape), you might rethink the potential sale……

I've been to murraysburg. only cyclists there are retired pensioners, you don't want their bikes (i bought all the vintage ones of any value already)

Fair enough. I understand it can be frustrating. Went through it myself. But that goes without saying for any detail regarding the seller, buyer or details of the item.

The site offers fields for both item and seller details and ample space for further description.

Despite this sometimes details are simply over looked. If I'm selling a NW chainring I'll say. 104bcd 32 tooth hope blue. Bolts not included. But I forgot about mileage didn't I? So if you're interested in the ring. I guess you'll have to ask. Just how it is.

Nothing to ask where seller located. You can contact via email or msg. Just a matter of waiting patiently. Although I have come across a few that just dont reply and have assumed its sold even though the ad remains for a week or 2 afterwards

kinda sorta reminds of these...

Goes along with this

http://www.zanews.co.za/columnists/2016/06/24/capetonians-plan-cexit-before-summer-influx-of-gautengers

Organisers hope for a quick referendum process

CAPE TOWN – Inspired by Britain’s Brexit vote, a group of Capetonians calling themselves Better Than Whole (BTW) are campaigning for a Cexit – or Cape Exit – from South Africa.

According to BTW spokesperson Stephanie Green, Cape Town would just be better off emotionally without the whole rest of the country to deal with. “Plus we can charge a fortune when they apply for visas for their summer holidays in the Cape”.

Cexit already has a trendy website, a meaningful song, and a solid hashtag. BTW are also subtly referencing that the move would help keep those Eastern Cape “refugees” out, but definitely not in a racist way.

For the purposes of Cexit, Cape Town obviously includes the wine route and Hermanus, although they remain undecided about the West Coast.

I had a n inquiry on pedals that I am selling. The person asked me "How many hours do they have on them?" There is ZERO chance that 99% of people would put the hours on pedals in an advert! Anyway, I worked it out for them using Garmin Connect and sent them the hours. Km's as well. But it just took them asking to get the response. Nothing wrong with that.

So how many hours did they have?

For 100 zar shipping nationwide, location is really moot.

Unless you want to view the item before buying, nothing nicer than a dodgy looking maeeting at the corner petrol station....
