Stubbed my toe

I stubbed my toe against the leg of our bed yesterday. Was pretty sore and made me think of Slowbee's toe injury. Not quite as spectacular but hurt like crazy. This is what it looked like a day later. Broken maybe? Who knows. Just iced it and went for a ride.

Probably broken, stubbed mine against the dog when he switched lines into my path, while walking on the beach sand. Your toe will become deformed if you just leave it, at least that's what happened to me.

I'm no expert or Doctor , but I recon you go see a doctor .

I was warned of something called "hammer toe"? Will need to splint it in a day or so.

He will - get an x-ray done - looks unwell.... ask Talus for a second opinion on splinting and leaving it but if it was mine I would xray first and then decide the next step.

The TALUS is after all a bone in the foot.

 

So you have do decide whether this is a foot injury or a traumatic one. Either way, the Hub has you covered..........

Few things more wince worthy than a solid toe stubbing, that one looks like a gem.

 

Definitely get it looked at, I know someone that had a similar thing happen, left it and now years later the toe can't bend and it gets very painful.
