[Event] The Swartberg100 Gran Fondo (Cancelled)

seems extremely narrow, i dont recall this from the 2016 event however I was not taking notes either, descending the pass back into PA was the one & only time i would've passed through\down there.

So we just walk that section - a CX bike hangs nicely on the shoulder.

It looks like the picture was taken perpendicular to the road. So maybe a 3m portage. Nothing to be concerned about I think.

Descent into PA.  If I remember correctly about 5km from the tar.  The road was on the left.  One can see the remains of the shoulder in the middle..  That section is about 300m long

Actually not perpendicular.  The photo was taken from the pass, downhill towards PA. White dot is a sign post of sorts.  Still short enough to hop the bike onto the shoulder!!

Oh dear not only Swartberg Pass, Meiringspoort too which is part of the race route but I don't think it's as bad as Swartberg Pass.
