The Cost price of the Catcher Is Apparently R350. To put It into perspective without sounding arrogant . My bike is cervelo S5 frame with SRAM red gearing and Deep sets . R350 is not something emptying my bank , but its the principal behind it and customer service .

 

I think you should be mad at the bike shop that sold you the groupset, if you had a proper groupset you would not need the chain catcher.

Went though to the Shop again And Dealt with the Manager That was there .Everything was civil and a resolution reached . I Payed for the service of putting Cables etc and the Catcher was Installed back .

 

Still Terribly Irritated as No apology but told Directly to find A new bike shop . Which I will gladly do

 

A few Guys here really Don't care about the issue of service but I did expect that . For those of you who want to avoid such service I'll Gladly Let you know the Lbs Name , just Pm me

Exactly. At the end of the day he is a customer and should be spoken to and dealt with in a professional manner.

 

Well done to the OP for coming on here and saying he has an issue with his LBS.

 

Not sure why he must lick the owner/shops balls to get better service and why does he have to do that first before coming on here and having a rant?

 

OP please tell us which Bike Shop it is, otherwise this thread is useless to us.
