yeah, but skollie would rival Tyrion Lannister ito height, so it's difficult for him to get clothes that fit right. Luke (oke in the striped hoodie) is my height, for reference.

And 26,994.

I have time, at times. Between things uploading and waiting for data... then recommending options and such...

ah skollie

its unfair for him and me alike, those jumps are higher than for you big guys... :whistling:

3 things that's mind boggling, the dude ontop of jump, he's clothes are too big, the jump is taller/higher than the dude ontop of jump and lastly Myles wtf, 26 991 posts

Hey! Those are from my underground hiphop phase. So the the fit is entirely appropriate.

You also hit the ground with half the force we do... :P

But yeah. Should be relatively easy to do. If you can do the rock drop in the bottom section of Paarl (after you dip back into the trail from riding the jeep track for a bit, and just before the berm section) then this should be a doddle.

Not even remotely....i just like to try stuff that makes me feel uncomfortable.

You told us already ;-)

Thermo....it's that damned Banshee you just got. ...it irons out the task that everything feels mundane  :P

Curious to see how cobra is rolling tomorrow (hopefully if I don't work too late tonight) as it has been month's since I have ridden there.

Hahaha... I haven't ridden it in a while. Been riding my HT in preparation for Wine To Whales hey. Even rode Conties black on it last Sunday.

That didn't make me uncomfortable. I've ridden that trail enough that I could ride it on anything really :P Just adjust the pace  ;)

The new Y-Bike kiddies track at Bloemendal has a bigger rock garden than most of the Tygerberg trails!

Great chirp

Damn those baby heads will test El Niño

I was blown away by the Cobra he first time I rode it in 2013 I think it was. Things have moved on however. My bike is better, my skills are better and the trails in the Cape have improved in leaps and bounds.

Cobra is now outclassed by the  recent additions to Jonkers and indeed was never, if I am honest, as much fun as the Canaries. The Tygerberg terrain is simply different, so the trails will be a bit smoother than rocky Jonkers, or even Tokai. Every time I ride Cobra now, I wish I had a hybrid bike that morphed between a slack enduro bike and a XC bike, to help me pedal faster when gravity runs out, which it does rather a lot on that trail. Think I need that HT trail bike asap!

If you were truly underground it wouldn't be a phase...

Good braap miming technique there though.

I'm a dirt roadie

Those rocks were cool and I had to work hard at getting into the right position and upping my courage levels, of which I have lots more on the road.

It felt like a cool achievement to complete the Cobra and this was during the gnarlier days of late Summer and early Autumn.

The trail will erode again after some maintenance

But the rocks will not return.

It is a pity.

Hopefully, the club will improve its capability to grade the trails.

Accurately. More fairly accommodating for a wider variety of members.

So when I eventually get my passport stamped for a trip to the N-Subs to ride Hoogekraal, that I should rather take my hardtail instead of the big bike?

Or should I just stick to Jonkers or Helderberg?

You guys make TBMTBC Trails sound like the Western Cape version of the Sani2C trails...

You don't need a full-sus bike for the TBMTBC trails.

Cobra is still fun, but it's really a pity that pretty hairy section is now tamed.

They are in fact better than the S2C trails. The rocky bit and the corners on Cobra will become proper again in a month or two. Save your visa for a trip to the deep south. Tokai is coming...

I had a serious identity crisis as a tween. Everything from hardstyle to hip-hop. I still listen to some of the old stuff I use to. From Ben Kaye to Prevail. But I have completely lost touch with trends and who's who and new in the zoo. When you're a dad and spend most of your time listening to Alphabet Train. Everything else seems like a phase.

The braap technique was necessary btw. We had to figure out what was gonna gonna go below it. We decided on a pile of rocks.
