I have developed a range of products for bike cleaning , degreasing , polishing , bike kit washing detergent and helmet cleaner. Also have a kicker in the form of a product that is a 100% natural solvent , completely environmentally friendly with no carsinogens at all, in an aerosol form that literally cleans all lube and build up in under a minute and then evaporates quickly . Are people actually buying bike cleaning products , or are the majority just sticking with good old clean green or similar.

I see a few brands avaliable , but I do t see or hear of many people using them. Please help with any feedback , or what would make you buy bike specific cleaning products.

YES!! I used to buy a degreaser from a buddy that owns a gas shop, They sell some other stuff to make up for lower sales in summer. was R75 for 5 litres. Worked wonders on my chains, Clusters and chain rings. This was a clear liquid. Then they changed brands for some or other reason and started stocking a pink liquid. First time I used it and it stained my Crank and pedals quite badly. I was very cross as I am neurotic about my bikes and now I have this ugly looking crank on one of my bikes and ended up buying a new set of pedals. So now I use it only for the chains. Its almost finished so am looking for something else to use. I either was my bike on the grass next to my pool or in the driveway that has a drain that I routed to my garden. So whatever I use must be environmentally friendly.

Powasol is what I use.

At the end of the day if it is marketed at an affordable price and it works well it will sell.

I like Powasol because of the ease of use. Spray on, wait, hose off and it is available at a few outlet that are close by and it doesn't break the bank. Plus Clint is a cyclist and he has supported a few local events.
