More than likely he did crash and now is taking a chance to have someone else cover the replacement cost as they do not have insurance. We only hearing one side of the story here guys so do not make assumptions like I just did about their insurance status.

Thanks guys.....He also claims that I removed the stickers off the original Syncro rim and replaced it with a much cheaper rim.....I know that wheel decals are not re-usable...CORRECT?

At one point when he first called me(2 days ago) he claimed that " I told him they were Mavic wheels and they are not".......I am soooo serious...... I am shocked that people like this even walk among us.....

Now that i am about to build a bike I see that the stickers have been completely transferred onto low quality rims.

As an active cycle trader, i am surprised this skipped your eye.

I would like you to take the wheels back .incl Gatorskins/no tubes.

The "Yellow" stickers he is talking about I removed as it clashed with my bikes colour at the time.... a white & black Trek Madone with a bit of red....

Buyers have a responsibility along with sellers. He should have inspected them on recieving them.
