Never had any hassles really with them but that said.... I've heard a fair amount of issues along the way. 

 

Maybe 'copy, paste, send' to CWC and follow up over and over again. I'm sure you have already but I'm a firm subscriber to 'the squeaky wheel gets the grease' over shouting and screaming in one big bang.

Seeing as this is a bit of a CWC rant page I'll add my tit to it.

 

See the Big Braai Sale and thought let's check whats available. Find a Black/Red Fizik Arione Versus Kium saddle advertised for R1150. Wanted to try a saddle with a Pressure Relief Groove and thought "Here we go". When I get there, only to get told the Grey/Blue is the only one on sale at that price.

 

So ... Why on this bl$*dy earth do you show the Black/Red picture at that price. Should this not be regarded as false advertising? The Black/Red version is R2250 when you in the shop. Now granted if you internet shopping and you "checkout" the Black/Red, it will tell you that that version is not on sale. But if you just look at the sale items and then go in store, you in for a surprise. So my question is WHY DO YOU THEN SHOW IT AS BLACK/RED IN YOUR SALE PICTURE?

 

Just check the sale items, it's still shown in the same way.

I placed an order on Sunday, and received my tracking number via text message today. Probably a glitch in the system which seems to have been sorted out.

I can vouch that I have had only excellent service from them... however, everyone has an off day.... good luck with your ordeal, I'm sure some good will come of it...

For the guys who placed an order & only receive it a week later, a little birdie told me once you confirm & pay the order, only then they place their order from their supplier hence the delay  :whistling:  :ph34r:

Recently I placed my order very early on a Monday morning and paid as well. Believe the items were in stock. Only received the order a whole week later. Perhaps I was expecting Takealot service but unfortunately it was not the case. Will never buy from them again.

A whole week!!! Did you enquire what caused the delay? Perhaps factors beyond their control? So for the next 20 years you are going to make them pay by buying your stuff elsewhere, even when (mostly) more expensive?

I have not had good service from them. I learnt after the first time. I will not ever buy from them. Good luck on your ordeal. I fear for the worst though!

I think the number of people on this forum who have received good service would outnumber the recipients of bad service by a massive margin. Your chances of getting "bad service" from a another online seller is the same. No one is perfect.

Have ordered 3 times online over the last year from CWC. Last time 10 days ago. No problems. All goods arrived well packaged and exactly as ordered.

3 to 4 days to Pmb for normal courier delivery.....if all the items are in stock.

Call them. I had some hassles ordering stuff. I called them, and they were pretty quick to send me an invoice. I did a EFT and it was shipped next day. Speak to Dante, he is great to deal with.

Agree i could have called, but cwc are playing in the digital space, with clients like me that aren't looking for a hassle. Select, pay and within a day or two the goods arrive. If i have a question, i will drop a quick mail.

I understand that feeling completely. When I order something online I want to do it quickly and efficiently. When there is communication around it then its quick and easy for me to pop a mail off, making a phone call is not quick and easy.

 

Im sure they will sort it out, I have only had good experiences dealing with them for online orders.

I usually find that when I talk on the phone the words come out a whole lot quicker than when I type an email. And then the reply only takes about 2 seconds instead of a couple hours.

Ja but do you want your good service to just out way your bad service or do you want your bad service to be an anomaly?
