Kilometer Zero on the final monument of the season... should be a cracker!!!

I've been so looking forward to this Monument.

It's been somewhat of an afterthought and forgotten race. Now with Pog, Ron, Remco, a resurgent Carapaz and co' it is now really picked up in status. Tadej is on a hat trick..

Spare a thought for Classics specialist, Greg van Avermaet, who is retiring, alongside Peter Sagan, of course. And the Frenchie and previous winner, Thibault Pinot.

This course suits Ben Healy a bit. Hope he's in the mix.

The Steppers stepping for the Belgian Champ. What’s happening with the double World Champ in Alaphillippe - dipping career arc after that terrible high speed crash.

Guys are going to hurt, European weather is pretty rough right now… not sure if all will give this a hard go or skip it for fear of falling sick?. I’m keen to see the new season unfold. 👍🏻

It’s the opening weekend, Ouens en Vrouens!

Meanwhile, auntie Pat is criticising the double rainbow jersey winner in Alaphillippe for too much partying and drinking in 2023, etc.. I suspect the Frenchman is not the same since two big crashes. Things can also change when one becomes a father.

I have not yet organised my viewing portal. Back to the granular and stop-start Tiz until further notice. Met eish.

I am so pumped after an excruciating off-season. The Visma-LAB rats looking like the team to beat in the classics.

Lefefefe has since backtracked claiming that statement was end of 2022. https://www.wielerflits.nl/nieuws/patrick-lefevere-nuanceert-kritiek-aan-adres-van-julian-alaphilippe-mijn-woorden-klinken-te-zwaar/

Regardless, it is poor form that he brought Alaphilippe's wife into it and had to air his dirty laundry in public once again.

https://cycling.today/ is sometimes better.

Replace can with will.

Can I gooi my VPN and then open an account with EuroSport, Dudes & Dudettes? Or do I need hardware?

You need a credit card from within the EU, or the UK, to be able to pay.

Edit: I know there's a virtual card option that some EU residents talk about using as they don't use a credit card. I'm not too clued up on it, but that could be an option.

EUR 6.99 or ZAR 145.71 for a standard subscription.
It has a PayPal option for payment, so I might try that for the next month and see what happens.image.png.88949fbb84f293a6b314ff55260295b1.png

If you get that right, please post here.

I tried, and I got billed, the service wasn't activated, and then I was refunded...

With the VPN active, it failed with a mismatch of region (VPN).

It won't be now, as I'm away in March, so for me will be a waste if it does work.
Might try it for the Monuments in April, then the Giro, Tour and other events later.
