Merely speculating: the guy that picks up the bike at 51 sec on the tape, white face.

As for they way they carry the bikes: they know how to handle a bike.

Flame me, but black thieves hardly ever cover their faces and hands.

Perhaps these guys are known by the shop.

Anything Spez is pretty and expensive. They don't have to pick the goods. Or they staked out the place acting as customers. Will be helpful to view cctv to see who's been loitering.

I also see the white faces...

These dudes know exactly how to get to the bikes, where the Oakley cabinet was etc, they know how to handle bikes as well as they were rushing but at the same time being very careful...

My gut says inside job, - Edited to save myself from a court case

Watch out for the low mileage parts popping up in the classifieds soon...

Perhaps a huge inconvenience for the honest dudes out there trying to sell their stuff, but what if the mods here closed down the classifieds for parts at least, as I believe these bikes will get stripped and sold off as parts right under our noses. Once the frames have aged a bit they could be "upgraded" with different parts etc and sold on in a years time...

if there is no market place to move stolen goods easily then I believe that incidents like this as well as bike jackings will decrease.

Problem is you cannot just close down one part.

There are many platforms out there to sell goods on, or even get rid of them through friends etc

Not only do you make ridiculous accusations, which if it was me would definitely see you in court for defamation, then you go on to shut down the hub because 13 bikes were stolen.

Why not go further and shut down every motor vehicle parts dealer in the country because 80,000 cars are stolen a year in SA. Or mobile phone repair businesses because phones get stolen.

Maybe have your morning coffee and engage your brain.

Those bikes will be striped today, built onto more cannondale/Swift/Colnago/Dogma frames and be on sale in the classifieds next week.

The frames will either be scrapped or resprayed in prior year colour schemes and sold as owner upgrading.

Our duty to keep an eye out, and not buy dodgy deals....

Guess we need a data base  / list of the bikes stolen   : colour ; size ; specs / groupsets / wheels ; serial numbers...

apologies if it was already listed in previous posts

Dude, if you ever make an accusation like that be prepared to back it up, it's a serious one.

If you made it about me or my business, I wouldn't let it slide.... just saying.

Shhh, don't tell Jacob that.  Small step from today's bringing the army in to shut the place down.
