The money is now been reassigned to salaries / overhead - so all services to cyclist will be reduce.

Well the idea is that the people who gets paid salaries use their time during office hours to run/administrate projects & races etc. And they would need a place to do it from.

So it is inaccurate to suggest that all salaries / overheads are all money going to waste not used for the benefit of cyclists.

Look PPA did a whole lot more years gone by with far few people in terms of fun ride / racing. From running an International event called the Giro del Capo to 2 fun rides per weekend at this time of year. Now with far higher paid salaries / income earners and people far less been done. I don't see value for money there.

Absolutely!

I have asked this before, several times, and nobody seems to be able to answer or actually discuss it constructively.

What does the PPA use all that money for?

Surely our current situation justifies dipping into their vast reserves to expedite some action?

Soon cyclists will be asking Gerrie Nel and AfriForum for help.....

the bulldog could go from the NPA to the PPA

Still doesnt mean you can look at salaries on the income statement and simply say it's money not used for cycling.

You have to look at how the staff spend their time to judge

I'll just agree to disagree on this, this has been argued to death on here...

I would like to see.

I could easily spend R3,5m sitting at Mavericks "talking about" cycling safety.

So other than money being spent in CPT what is the rest of the country paying for to all these CSA and PPA etc etc fees?

These institutions exist because it seems we allow them to exist but they never give back

They spent the money on brand amasadors, print and media adverts and radio

Would be nice to actually see or hear any of these... I have never.
