In the context of this incident alone though. Can't Kittel hit back.
Ok, Grivko was expelled from the race and rightly so. Hopefully Kittel would also have gotten a warning for conduct. 

And that's that, move on like grown men and let the legs do the talking. 

 

But no, lets call for a ban etc etc ... Ok then, for aguments sake. Give Grivko the six month ban, by the same token a 3 month ban for Kittel.

Apparently it was an elbow not a fist. There was mention in commentary yesterday that Hrivko has done it before in Tour of Turkey. He could face a 6month ban and unable to do Worlds if UCI samctiions him. Maybe Hrivko should join Bouhanni in the ring. Kitty Kat must've done something to deserve that.

The advantages of elbow strikes over fist strikes has been well documented in several martial arts disciplines. Its always good when you see people applying theory and executing it with such precision.

I recall Greipel getting annoyed with someone after handlebars clipped. If I had him yelling me I would just say "sorry sir" and try get away in a hurry!

 

I lost heaps of respect for Kittel after all the bike and wheel throwing that happened recently.
