Good day hubbers

Could anyone with 5mins to spare please make A list of the consumables they use on their bike the most /which they use very often.

Then also please make a list of things you think are over priced and/or not available or hard to come by locally.

Keep the list to 5-10 items please :)

Cheers

overpriced and/or unavailable?

  • Direct to consumer bikes brands sold in this country. (or did bikehub successful conclude it was due to WMC currency manipulation?)
  • Suspension products

High consumption items:

  • Tyre sealant
  • Tyres
  • Grips
  • Brake pads
  • The paint on my frame :(

Consumables:

CO2 cartridges

Brake pads

Fork oil

gear cables - cable ends

Overpriced / unavailable:

Jagwire colour cable outers

Grips are like crocs - overpriced when available, lower quality when well priced - and I don't want either of those offerings.

Bar plugs that can take a beating, look good and wont turn lethal in the event of a crash.

I have always used the muckynuts versions.

They can have a beer cap on the end but never used that. Great bar plugs though!
