The only trail I ride where this happens is Majik forest and I can see that although I slow right down and even stop sometimes as soon as I know there's a walker or runner ahead of me, they routinely get a big fright and move to the side of the path as if I were going to run into them. If I put myself in their shoes - here comes 95kg of zebra striped mamil on an XL Merida crashing along at Strava smashing speeds .... terrifying! So, how is that e-bike going?

The merida weighs 13.8kg all in plus my camelbak si the point i was making is that as a hiker having 110plus kilos of mean mamilian machine bearing down on you is probably quite anxiety provoking.
