Also have a look at the Catlike Whisper shoes, great prices on bikeinn.com, plus, the blue ones will look good with your cookie monster shirt.....

I have had 3 pairs of spez shoes and rate them highly .Also have used Mavic for 5 years with many happy miles .Mavic make quarter sizing so you can get the best fit .If i only had one pair it would be the Mavic razor model

Sidi shoes are very narrow

LG and Specialized with my wide feet nicely

Ja, I always buy Sidi shoes one size larger than my normal shoe size. Very narrow. For narrow European feet, not for SA farmer feet.

Mavic shoes really appeal to me.

Shimano all the way. Even those without a carbon sole are very good. Most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Sidi's are good, but they do not fit everybody. I cant speak for specialized, never owned a pair.

Some already covered, but I have had Sidi's and they are great but quite narrow.

The Shimano (XC70) out the box have been the most comfortable and have fitted the best.

I'm planning on acquiring the new XC7's in black OR the Spez Expert XC looks good value.

I also have the 2015 Scott Team shoe and like the Shimano XC70 - very comfortable straight out the box!

You will get a good shoe for a round R2500 no need to spend anymore!

I wish i had seen these earlier ... I bought the grey and orange yesterday on eBay. Got a family member bringing over for me, but that is a great price your selling for. Being a size 47, Can I ask what is your shoe size, 11 or a 12...?? Good luck with the sale as that is a R2250 shoe here.

I had the Giro Code and their 48 is more like a 47. I normally wear a 12 and their 48 feels tight in front (I do have long toe's). I think it will fit an 11 (UK) better.
