Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge - #CC2017

So Cycle Challenge messed up big time on my starting time and my rather extensive efforts amounted to only a partial remedy. So for me that means s tarting in Z at 8:10, half an hour after I should be.

 

Anyone else starting in Z looking for around 3:40?

In Y. Looking for a sub 4. So if you pass me we can work together for a while. [emoji4][emoji4]

Should be able to. Racetec is there to sort you out normally.

In the 2nd video, up until kyalami(that's when the race actually started) I am probably the most featured guy. We(myself and the guy taking the video) were chatting about the wedding he went to the night before and how late, or early he got home. I think he got home at like 2am. Then he still managed to be in that break for so long.

That's nothing. Mate of mine DID NOT SLEEP THE NIGHT BEFORE and managed a sub 2h40.

Not possible. You'll still be posting some excellent pics on the Lady Pros group. That takes preference of course.

That's nothing. Mate of mine DID NOT SLEEP THE NIGHT BEFORE and managed a sub 2h40. 

Apparently you don't actually need a good nights sleep the night before. You need it 2 nights before. So Friday night(tonight!!!) you should get some good sleep. The body can survive the day after a bad night but it catches up with you the following day. Well that was according to some research done by some clever people. But I am sure you can find just as many tests done to say you need good sleep the night before.

Expo:

Seems like cost savings have done away with the sponsored water bottle and limited goodies. No bag either.
