The Columbians were just in another class in the high mountains today with Nairo dancing effortlessly up the road and Bernal looking as if he was on a Sunday cruise while hanging back to nurse Froome to the finish line. 

 

Dan the Man was just all raw guts as per usual...a true warrior.

 

I expect Sky to attack Dumoulin on Friday as they would like to have more than a 2 minute lead on him going into the Final ITT.  Roglic remains a very dangerous dark horse.

I can see Froome attacking early on Fridays stage like he did at the Giro. One last throw of the dice. If that works he’ll be up for the TT big time. One thing I’ve learnt is never to count him out.

 

Doubt that very much. Will be seen as a very douchebag move and will make himself unpopular at Sky. No, I think he made his own mind up today about his chances. He and GT were in lots of discussions while climbing, and I think the consensus was that he did not have the legs to contain TD and PR.

Mmm but should he?.. shouldn't he be looking after Thomas and protecting yellow..cause if he doesn't then they could lose yellow altogether .... it has been almost 3 weeks of racing and riders ..even the whales are starting to tire.

Yes I also think they will just control now. 2min is a lot for a guy like Thomas that is a very good TT rider himself.With Poels, bernal and Froome able to pace in climbs I can't see anybody attacking Thomas now.

Maybe Froome try to keep podium but right now I think he is just holding on..the body is probably just too tired.

Roglic will go hard again tomorrow and on paper he should be up there in TT.

Most interesting thing now will be who takes 3rd.
