Does anyone have some reliable information regarding the cycling industry, its growth in SA, maybe the size of the cycling market? ...We've looked in the past and struggled to get any reliable, meaningful data about the size of the market. For what it's worth, the "cycling is the new golf" boom kicked in around 2012, but on anecdotal evidence that growth seems to have slowed. Edit: For those dismissing the now very tired billing as the "new golf", the OPs point appears to be more about the lack of market data to support this assertion, old as it may be.

I don't know trail running maybe? I know what the new MTB will be... I'm going to invent something called Trail Bo. Its a mix of Tae Bo and trail running. All the ladies who were super into Tae Bo in the 90s (but are now soccer moms) will jump on the nostalgia train. Billy Blanks will come out of retirement, release a new home video and we will both get rich. You heard it here first. I might have had too much coffee but this feels like a really good idea at the moment.

Nie seker wat vir wat gelos was nie... Hardloop en fiets nog steeds
