Hi guys, I am selling a few items here on the hub. I have someone interested in one of the items and this person requested my bank details. My question is, what can this person do with my acc no, bank name and account type?

I am just concerned that the guy might be a scammer, he is not asking any questions about the thing I am selling, just wants my banking details. Normally people asks questions or want more info.

Wait for the payment to clear. DO NOT release the items with only a pop. Wait until the funds show. Then call your bank and confirm that it was a transfer or cash payment, not a stolen cheque that with the help of a skelm teller reflects as a cash payment but isnt.

Is "Hilton" the buyer?

If so, he's 100% legit. Cool dude.

No it is for my brooks saddle. Thanks guys for all the info

What would you be expecting as questions about a saddle? There is nothing technical about it.

If you don't feel comfortable with the sale and giving your bank details then politely decline the offer.... and maybe consider a cash only sale if you are that paranoid.

If you don't feel comfortable get another saddle

If it is a scam it would be along the lines of we deposited too much, please refund us bollocks, but I think you'll be fine otherwise
