Damn I was keen to see where the litigation was heading.

As gullible as some are, these guys are getting good. Even had scammers contact me for my wanted ads. Pretty convincing, he just didn't offer me what I wanted. Must say Admin was on top of it and warmed me that scammers had viewed my ad, gave me names etc

The funny thing about this is no one will ever be able to sell a yellow 2018 Elements 50 on hub ever... Considering its the "only one in SA" it will always be assumed its him trying to sell it again

I am just shocked that he thinks that his bait and switch tactics are ok, but heaven forbid people point them out he calls black mail. 

 

The only way it would be black mail is that if someone demanded he hand over the bike IF  that person did not pursue his bait and switch pricing shenanigans.

There is a crank protector on the drive side on the one photo. Yellow. And the rear tyre does not look like the Maxxis. And there is a second bottle cage not appearing in the other photos.

 

And maybe it's just my phone but looks like chain is different. Black inner links looking from non drive side, while drive side appears to have standard links

But if it's been used, and the photos are from October, isn't it false advertising, as the photos don't show the current condition?

 

I don't think many people would be happy if they bought a bike based on 6 month old photos, not showing current condition

In all honesty, I think this is his best bet... I was going to advise him to keep it or sell it through someone else... but then we would loose his advert and this thread and out lives would feel empty for the rest of the week.
