Henry Reed - whopping 31 Friends.

Must be a great guy

Henry seems to be motivated by his economic circumstances, and his perception that cyclists are wealthy and therefore arrogant.  Very sad fellow, poor Henry is - imagine being that bitter?  And he's got the bull completely by the balls, in any event.  Cyclists are arrogant because they have 4% body fat andget up at 4AM to ride in the freezing pitch dark for the single purpose of being able to feel superior to mortal citizens!  What a dummy!  Or maybe Henry is just mif cos he's fat, but I don't know this for a fact - maybe ask one of his 31 tjommies!

Sad that this is the world we live in.

When given the opportunity, I usually ask these drivers if they would be happy if I drove my car so close to their kids...

We saw the same thing in South and North Carolina, trucks and cars just can't stand cyclists...usually the 300 lbs smoker with a 2 gallon Coke in the other hand.

The campaign against vaccines based on non-science is far more dangerous than any driver on any road.

If there wasn't a danger to others and innocent children, I would actually let anti vaxers do their thing, over a long enough timeline they would remove themselves from the gene pool.

methinks it would be quite dangerous to ride anywhere NEAR this charming HENRY REED fellow.  I took a stroll across to the Krugersdorp Community Forum (which alleges to be governed by the rules posted above) to stumble on this little gem from HENRY

Too true.  And the weirdest thing of all is the religious cult-like fervour these misinformed fools live by.  You can't have any semblance of a logical debate with them.  They see you as brainwashed by "science" and "technology" and "big pharma".  And they just KNOW better, because somebody told them so.  Its a real phenomenon, with all the hallmarks of blind religious obedience.  In this day and age.  The mind boggles.

Not all of us! It's not just double cab. It's all cars. Just like saying BMW drivers don't indicate, Sure some don't but same goes for all other brands of cars. It's not the car that's being a box, it's the prick driving it.

sounds akin to the "guns don't kill people, people with guns kill people" argument.

I personally experience a huge variety of cars driving recklessly and negligently when i'm cycling on road. from the cheapest unroadworthy rubbish to the most expensive materialistic car, they're all capable of murder apparently.

I also haven't found the make-eye-contact technique to work reliably. People are angry and blame each other, and no amount of courtesy is going to set right irrational hate

I listed the dangers on Twitter once a while ago. Took some flak for it....

Bakkie drivers, school runners, and PUTCO buses are the biggest dangers in my mind.

My gosh, those reckless busses. They are definitely the most dangerous vehicles in my neighbourhood, followed by 30-50 year old women who skip stop signs.

It's like a petri dish full of different viruses fighting for turf, but in the end, they're all viruses.

Patchelicious, do you have a link to the post you mentioned you made and took shots for? Just interested in reading it please

I know that and agree, just want to point out that one should always empower yourself. My wife got it and is still partially paralysed. More and more people are getting it from CERTAIN vacinations.

I am not against Vacination....just against certain ones. Especially the ones young people dont REALLY need like the FLU one.

In my office of 7, some people are on their 3rd run of flu the last 2 months or so, me being the only one who hasn't gotten sick, me also being the only one who went for a vaccination about 2.5-3 months ago. Whether it's helping or not, these stats have me believing it works every year and is worth it to avoid regular antibiotic treatments.
