I had a look at the hammer direct indoor trainer for R18000.

 

Dont someone knows of something else that alo gives watt output which i can connect my bike on

The CycleOps Hammer is ANT+ FE-C compliant and BLE 4.0 (Bluetooth SMART). This mean's the Hammer will work with Zwift, TrainerRoad and Rouvy.

I have The Hammer...happy with it so far.

 

There are tons of comments and posts relating to different trainers. Do a search on the HUB.

I have the the Kickr Snap and I am really happy with it. Don't need anything more than that.

Jesica, just some out of the box thinking:

 

Why not get a power meter on your bike, that way you can get power feedback while training indoors on a dumb trainer but you can still do Zwift/Rouvy etc, but you will also get power feedback while out on the road during riding and racing.

 

Stages left crank can be bought in the classifieds for around R4k to R5k and then a dumb trainer can be found for below R1k.

One can most definitely do something like that, however do keep in mind the advantages of a "smart" trainer is the controlled resistance which makes interval training so much easier and efficient. And for the days when you just want to cruse then selecting a route in Zwift or Rouvy and having the trainer adjust resistance is pretty cool.

 

The new Watteam crank based system come in from just R3 995.00 and can easily connect up to Zwift or Rouvy. for more info on the Watteam system see below.
