Hi

Hoping someone knows. Where can I buy Shimano hubs locally?

I see a lot online retailers stock Shimano hubs but I don't see anything locally?

Not a common stock item in SA bike shops. Ask your LBS to get some prices from Coolheat.

for mtb? any model in particular?

MTB yeah. No specific model. I'm looking for a set of Boost hubs and I've never had issues with Shimano's stuff. So I was just wondering why it's not common here.

Maybe check the Shimano warehouse/factory/shop near greenstone? Seen their board a couple of times when passing the mall.

I've had good success from Olympic Cycles (based in CT) they sourced a standard MTB QR rear hub got the exact part that I wanted. (Bang them a email : sales@olympiccycles.co.za)

Also got a front and rear hub from buycycle.co.za, they happened to have what I wanted in stock.

Because there are MUCH better hubs available - Hope for example... better in every way.

You should not blame the bearings for your weakness.... Apply rule 5...
