But it tries to steer away from the elite side of cycling. If you have an aluminium bike with carbon wheels, you are obviously more than welcome to pull in and race... but if you have an old steel frame lying around, that should be your first choice! If you have a new light weight aluminium bike with carbon fork, you are welcome to pull in and race (might recieve a few squiff looks from dudes on their heavy steel )... but if you have an old steel frame lying around, that should be your first choice!
