I see it starts at some place called MX Legends. Limited parking, I've never been there?

"Platteland" type venue.

In and out of there will be okay if the setup the Start and finish correctly.

Should be fun.

Read somewhere that the "normal" Tshwane will still be held (also) at the old venue aka Voortrekker monument.

But at this stage of the game I suppose nothing is set in stone

The May event will be lekker as it is more country roads with not too crazy traffic as you would get in the city........

Couple of lekker climbs and drags to keep the legs tired.

It's exactly the same route, just a bit shorter. Below is the Fat Sheep route. Only difference is the single bit of dogleg down the bottom is removed so it's a bit shorter.

I rode the Fat Sheep. Not a bad ride but found parts of it a bit hairy from a safety perspective - heavy trucks and cars passing close at speed and badly broken road shoulders in places.

Same events company so guessing they are going the "tried and tested" route.

I think it is a very nice route.

On Fat Sheep I wasn't crazy about the part of the route along narrow roads with badly broken shoulders and the fast moving traffic brushing past. I didn't feel safe, even with my radar etc. And I am used to riding the narrow bits of Witkoppen etc.

that is worrying

If they have roaming Marshalls on motorbikes with each "batch", it helps a lot to guide the traffic past the bunches etc.

We had them at the Jo'burg Classic, and to me they made a difference.

Look, most of the route is okay but there is fast moving traffic along much of the route. The bit that is not so great is in the U section you see top left. The rest is pretty okay. But I'm not terribly keen to ride it again.
