Nowadays really I listen to mostly electronica on mix / soundcloud and the music on Giles Peterson's Worldwide FM although i have my music library of a few thousand CD's ripped and ready at all times in all places.

Should say that although I could call myself a music lover I have absolutely no musical talent. No that I didn't try though....

I tried to learn guitar, but being left handed I never committed properly. Love my music... And pretty much all genres except hard rock/metal... Never got into that

I am left handed. Started playing at varsity on an upside down a la Hendrix. Check out a left guitarist Doyle bramhal. He plays left with strings strung for a righty. Now that is a serious mind **** watching him an not hearing the sounds associated with the shapes.

I played in 4 or 5 bands you never heard of. I love music an the feeling when it all grooves in a band is one of the best feelings on earth. When it gels it’s like drugs.

Normally listen to old school metal, a bit of trance, some Giorgio. Old school metal rules. Early Syd floyd an good ole rock rules.

Still have a custom made les Paul ,case full of stomp boxes an small tube amp. Resurrect my musical career at some point.

There's a really good movie with Steve coogan called twenty four hour party people. Which kinda defines that drug scene. There's also a mini documentary from the BBC about Shaun Ryder and a bit about Bez. The okes are tickets now... Can barely function.

I Saw the stone roses final gig at reading 96. I'm sad to report that it was very underwhelming.. But... Still got to see them I guess

Aah Reading and Glastonbury. Hazy memories of my youth in one of my 'I'm living in England forever' stages. They never lasted ????

She has struggled with a lot of demons during her life, maybe this will bring her some peace..perhaps Buddhism would've been better for her[emoji6]

Was my first thought too when I heard.

I've been playing bass in church for years. One stage all three guitarists in the group (wouldn't call it a band) were lefties playing right-handed.

Sitting on the porch, listening to Jeffrey Foucault and his guitar. Country blues at its best. Album = Miles from the lightning. Almost John Prine/Townes van Zandt. Can't be more complementary.

Edit: add folk to the country blues bit. As difficult to put Jeff in a category as Baby in a corner. All I know is I'm drinking whiskey and close to tears.

Been battling to find a good Country song, then came across this tune from Scotty McCreery:

Makes me wish that tune was played at mine and my wife's wedding.

Been battling to find a good Country song, then came across this tune from Scotty McCreery:spend some time to discover John Prine. Bob Dylan rates him. He makes jokes bout bicycle spokes, but does loads of social commentary laden in jest and often dead serious.

I have a friend that plays guitar like Bramhal. It definitely is quite strange but once you get used to it it's actually amazing to see and experience.

Custom made Les Paul - you are lucky fella!
