loufou Posted December 2, 2018 Share I arrived at Tankwa Padstal at 22:00 this evening a year ago. Totally smashed by headwinds and was craving for something warm. There was nothing left but water and Coke! I slept for two hours and left WP10 at 24:00. Made it the next day with half an hour spare and no skin om my bum left. So, it’s still possible, even for some behind the Green Flag. I don’t wish it upon anyone however!!Go Karina go!!!! This is what I love about the Munga. I watch, cheer and check up on some faceless person who is not a pro racer but a normal person like me, for no other reason but their determination. He scratched in the bin and found a few bread crusts from the toasted sarmies that previous riders had thrown away. He says they tasted fantastic.
