Cippo Posted December 3, 2018 Share Easiest setup IMO is Apple tv and the Wahoo Tickr belt. Belt talks to Apple tv via bluetooth and then onto big screen. You don't need your Fenix as only one device can control trainer anyway. I'm using Sufferfest so I mirror app from Iphone to Apple tv. Apple tv can be used for many other apps, Showmax, Netflix, Youtube etc. 4th gen Apple tv has sone lag on visuals so I went with 4K version. Check out Shame Miller (GP Lama) on youtube. Apple tv has app for Zwift so no need to mirror from Iphone. You can however use Remote app on Iphone to control your Apple tv and chat to riders in app as Apple tv remote not very friendly for typing. Other option is Ant+ dongle on laptop/pc and then HDMI cable onto tv. If you are going to use Ipad it has to be Ipad3 up with IOS9 onwards. Cippo Posted December 3, 2018 Share Using Ipad you will need a bluetooth hr belt to sync with Ipad. Garmin belts are ANT+.

Schnavel Posted December 3, 2018 Share There are other options available, but the two you have listed are definitely the cheapest. I use the Apple TV option and it works perfectly. However, as mentioned above, it only works with Bluetooth, meaning heart rate straps and smart trainers need to be able to communicate using bluetooth. I have an Apple TV, Cycleops Hammer and a 4iiii heart rate strap.
Marcv Posted December 3, 2018 Share Hi I use my laptop with win10 and the zwift app linked to a tv with an hdmi cable. I connect to my Direto with my iphone and the companion app and it connects to the Zwift app on the pc. Works great so far Cippo
RocknRolla Posted December 3, 2018 Share Those Direto trainers are bang for buck. Very impressed with what I saw. Missus put it through it's paces, and she speaks highly of it.

Harryn Posted December 3, 2018 Share Just make sure everything is linked through a Garmin accountYes, but there is no point in linking your Zwift account, to your Garmin account - that data still does not fly with Discovery. You need to run your Garmin device, and upload your workout from it. Dexter-morgan and Pusher
