Here it's more random, drunk, and plain careless. I've had close calls here but never been abused and come back for you like I have in the UK and had guys get out of the car or just plain try to run you off the road on purpose as I've seen in Aus'.

He was out for a ride with his 18 month old son on Sunday and a van driver "drove at him". The van driver then told Kenny that the incident was his fault.

If Kenny and son had just blown a red light on the wrong side of the road popping a wheelie then all credit to the van driver for not killing him. If Kenny and son were obeying the law and without provocation a white van man drove at them then he is an idiot. Without knowing the circumstances the article might as well just say "cyclist and van driver have altercation".

Happened to me here when a heart attack in waiting managed to slide his bulk out of his bakkie to rant and threaten me. I was worried his heart would give out there and then the way he looked, mainly because I didn't fancy the fat sod landing on me.
