Dadbod Racing Posted March 7, 2019 Author Posted March 7, 2019 As you said nothing is going to get done about it because too many high profile individuals have a finger in the pie in the taxi industry so they make sure that their vans stay on the road. if the drivers get fined then unlucky for the driver, there's another driver waiting to drive. Another driver willing to break the law to meet his target for the day no matter what. I still maintain they need to crush unroadworthy vehicles and vehicles which have X amount of unpaid fines attached to it. It's the only way you'll hit the taxi boss where he doesn't want to be hit and that's his pocket.

The yeloow lane here has bollards, i wasnt even aware of the taxi until he started knocking my mirror. I responded with a hoot. He stopped and raised is hand thru the window as if to say wtf. I rolled (automatic) up next to him and in the process forgot to brake out of shock i suppose. I knocked his mirrorand asked why he driving there. No answer. I then said, with a little patience we will all get where we want to go.He then asks ke what about my mirror, and I ask what about mine? I cant see his and then he points his is shattered. I tell him, naa it was like that and off we went. He stayed behind me for a while before he changed lanes.These type of drivers dont deserve to drive. You will see some taxi drivers sit and wait where as othes have this gang mentality on the road.I cant wait for the demerit system.

Thread title somewhat confusing thoughYeah, I clicked the link assuming a taxi driver murdered a fellow vehicle driver... this is just as bad though.The police have been useless for years. This week, I see a police bakkie enter the lane I'm in but behind me, no indicator. This lawless law enforcer then hops to the next lane without indicating, comes past above speed limit, enters my lane without indicating... I switch my brights on as means of pointing out to this scumbag that I see their law breaking. Not much further down, the clown is slow to accelerate at the robot and ends up behind me going up a hill. The car to my left is slower than I, but of course this lawless law enforcer will come behind me flashing. After easily 300m of this, the clown gets to pass and buzzes their stupid siren and throws me a zap.Nice hey, our first line of law enforcement are complete lawless scum, so of course we aren't protected by them. Protect yourself because the police sure as heck won't! I feel terrible for the commuter that was knocked down like their life was meaningless. I hope the bottomfeeding mouthbreather gets caught and justice served with the full force of an uppercut.

I was crashed into by a taxi who didn't hold a license. I'm sure the scumbag has taken out many cars and people since that day. The demerit system has nothing on them because they aren't law abiding to begin with.

It's good I don't have a bakkie, I think I'd have many many many run ins with these idiots. I personally feel that the demerit system is not going to work for the taxi industry, if a guy looses his license he's not going to care, he'll be behind the wheel as soon as he can.

Go check in ndabeni the number of taxis standing there. However the drivers go and get another van from the fleet of the taxi owner. Thats where the problem starts. Owners dont make sure these guys have a valid license, or vans are not roadworthy.
