Markellis Posted April 4, 2019 Share Just on this topic of pointing and laughing at people who can afford things others can't business, what is the correct protocol here, should the pointer be wearing a pair of those blue gloves in order to point or is a bare hand point acceptable? CAAD4 Posted April 4, 2019 Share I just bought a very capable trail bike for R25K. This includes the upgrades (Saint flat pedals, grips, better rotors etc.). I saved R7K! R32K for a drivetrain is insanity. Unless you can afford it of course, in which case I say good for you. Or if you are a pro, and have a mechanic who handles everything for you (setup, maintenance and so forth). I'll stick with cables and stuff, keeping my bike fully field serviceable and independent from electronics. You lost me at flat pedals... henningvr Posted April 4, 2019 Share You lost me at flat pedals...You're not alone, I've lost most of my riding buddies over flat pedals too. Apparently it's a thing. DieselnDust

DieselnDust Posted April 4, 2019 Share Takes about 10 second longer to remove the grub screw and cable from a mechanical dropper. No additional tools needed. Edit: meant to reply to the post before yours. 9 seconds saved by using a cable cutter Grease_Monkey

henningvr Posted April 4, 2019 Share I'll be honest - if I could afford this groupset, and I mean really afford it, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Imagine not having any cables to mess around with! DieselnDust and Escapee..
