Fenix for the win.

Apple Watch is good but not great. Use mine mainly just for running.

It doesn’t upload directly to Strava, but I seem to have it done that by running both apps at once.

Bit of a nuisance as it drains battery quicker.

Also u need to start the Apple workout app 1 make sure it registers your HR then start Strava.

If not your HR data will not be correct

Reading this I'm proud to say I don't own a branded or unbranded puffer jacket, don't own any Garmin product don't wear Woolies jeans or Salomon shoes.....

I'll just hide my mac away for now.

Be4dawn someone mentioned earlier about the reviews on youtube. I did the same when looking for my watch but I I went in knowing what sports I do and what I want to spend.

Goodluck...

Apple watch if you wanna quickly do your hair and bang out a quick wank while watching beach volleyball on TV and tell all your mates how fit you are at the bistro down the road.

Fenix if you wanna get out and rough it a bit and have a proper training tool.

Each of them speak for themselves.

Have read all the posts, but FWIW:

My Apple Watch 3 battery last more than 2 days

It links to Strava, but can’t use the native app at the same time (so it’s either Strava or Discovery for points).

It works fine to get the basics, or when I forget my Garmin (or charger) at home on a business trip.

Other than that, it’s not on my list for a “sports” watch. Garmin FTW - I can’t comment on Suunto or the new Polar as I’ve used one.

For the Apple Watch users get an app called HealthFit. It will sync your health app to Strava and also sync past workouts.

As for the Apple hate... I guess people just get triggered when they hold something small in their hands.

Ps. 29ers suck!

Yip I loaded Strava routes and use that. Must admit i used it very little but it does work quite well.

For cycling a map on any wrist based watch / device is near impossible to read while on the go. One would, probably, need to stop and check the directions rather than ride and look at your website on the fly. (Or perhaps I just can't multitask :)

935 comes with a handlebar attachment (if you get the tri-bundle). It works but because of the smaller screen it isn't as good as a proper bike GPS unit.
