I long for the day when a computer can get my name right....FFS.

'Morné'....instead of 'Morn?'

or like the Uber drivers call me: Mourn (yes i'm perpetually sad, apparently it means 'stillborn' in Congolese french too)

'They' mustn't come with their  "learn to pronounce MY (African) name" BS

1234.... it is cool.

You'll definitely see me... start slowly and hold that pace is my race strategy

Mamil, you have the coolest race number :w00t:

I'll be starting in the group behind you, maybe i'll see you along the way

They emailed us with start times and it looks like plenty of peeps going, hissing serpent alone is 678 peeps....

I came 2nd last year in Bone crusher just cause some peeps infront of me took wrong route...eh what you gonna do, but besides that my seeding came out and now i am in Group D....wtf

There are some guys in A that came an hour after me...not sure how it works.

A bit shitty

Overheard them saying yesterday that they use your SAS seeding...a quick check of some names in groups way in front of me, confirms that this cannot be the case...

I'm convinced that there is a huge correlation between date of entry and seeding...same as with the CTCT MTB event.

If that is the case, I would be right at the back. My saseeding is a big f up. The last one on their site is a race I did in 2016. I have done alot of other races that is on their site, but not on my seeding.

I live 300km from CT. I will be driving from here 3.30 saterday morning. Luckily a friend can pick up my racepack tomorrow.

If I knew pick up would not be possible Saturday morning, I would not have entered.

Guess I would have to wait till Saturday morning to get my seeding.

I entered in March, my friends who entered  3 weeks ago all infront of me, they havent ridden a mtb event since last yr this time....

So doubt its on date of entry

Had a friend collect mine yesterday, provided him with a photo of my id which was what they initially required. Eventually he had to complete an entire form in order to get race packs.
