Recycle helmet

Dropped my helmet from the dresser and cracked the foam on my Tri helmet. No crash replacement just forked out for another. Google shows me planters for the old nogin protector but the wife is way to bouje for that tomfoolery around the house. Any ideas before tossing it? And not that I’m a tree huger but lately I got into reusing items - like my old wetsuit became a bouncy shorts for the pool, chain became a cassettes removal tool, old cracked frame went to the local nursery for a display (well not yet, owner needing a few more old items before making it look like a bike), simply toss it? It’s not in a condition to donate

smash it proper and throw away , i think the mixture will be too complicated and of little volume to make it worth while for someone to recycle

Glue it, takes pics of the none broken side and sell it on here as "good condition" ....seems to be the trend at moment :)

Oh yes but make sure you include a letter that the sale is "as is" when you finally post to the buyer

Bliksem... how high is your dresser? And did it fall on the dog who proceeded to chew it?

Repair it with glue as best you can and put it in your car.

Next time you drive past a commuter without a helmet ( most don't own one ), give it to him.............better than nothing !

Perhaps grounds for a merger of the two threads.? :)

Smash it up a little more... maybe glue and end of a tree branch covered in blood coming out the hole. Save it for your next holloween party as easy outfit possibly with some old blood stained and ripped gear that you might have tossed away anyway... and afterwards bin it proper.
