Whatever you want. No such thing as a best wheel size.

 

Would help if you gave a bit more info though. What type bike do you ride? Where do you ride? What type of riding do you do? What do you want from your bike - fun, speed?

I ride a hardtail

Doing some local trails with the group. I do for fun. Always have an issue with staying with the group. But I want a little more agility on the course. I have a 29"

Whatever you want. No such thing as a best wheel size.

Well it also depends on your height and weight. Smaller riders still feel more comfortable on the smaller wheels.

I would stick with a 29'er, you are used to it, 27.5 are not sole purpose ideal for smaller riders, as Emily Batty is an example.
