Happy to help out there - the world's first paved roads were built in Africa (Egypt), later to be copied by the Persians and then by the Romans

Although the Egyptians were people that had come from the middle east (genetics has shown)

Bet you guys did not know that most of the white factory and mine workers in the 1920's belong to the Communist party?

"Founding and development of the CPSA, 1921-1949

The founding conference of the Communist Party of South Africa (CPSA) took place in Cape Town from 30 July to 1 August 1921. The party was founded mainly by radical White workers and socialists who had experienced workers' struggles in Europe and were inspired by the first workers' state, which was founded in 1917 in Russia, after the Bolshevik Revolution."

Only 34 posts for Godwin's law to hold true. Might be some sort of record. Can't say I'm surprised though, it's a fitting comparison.

As I understand they weren't a homogeneous population, they had people coming in from all over - but yes, a large portion was from the middle east

Well, this is sadly the reality of our species, created by our species.

We are in the midst of a very successful parasitic existence.

I was thinking along the lines of it all being about me, but somehow parasitic works that much better.

yes, big picture.

The smaller issues, such as you mentioned, tolerance, sustainability is something we should certainly work on to achieve the best possible environment for the balance of your existence.

Mentioning Hitler or comparing apartheid to the Nazi’s is not Godwin’s law.

The law is about the degradation of the conversation to where forum users start calling other users nazis over a long enough time line.

My understanding is it's both...comparison of the topic to Hitler or Nazis, or name-calling.

Or are you being a grammar Nazi?

Forget Goodwin's law.... We need a hub law.... Number of posts before s thread goes South

Then we first need a definition of what "Gone South" means, for the we will have to form a committee. Do we form parties, base it on popular vote, man this is getting confusing. The only law I know that was passed without all this red tape was Rouxtjies law.

And how is East, West or North supposed to feel about that? Why are they being excluded?

....and when a thread is going south at Title stage?

From another Forum, that was taken from another Forum:

"Watching this thread is like watching a meat truck crash into a dogpound.. we all know what the outcome is going to be...."
