The bookies seem to agree hence the odds offered on wales. Here’s hoping.

As I am in the upper echelons in some of my superbru pools I have no hope of winning by going with the favourites. Should wales win I have a chance of topping 4 pools. Win or go down in a ball of flames

I won my last world cup superbru by betting on Wales v England (I think). Win point.. Margin point and bonus point!

Wales consigned me to the list of also rans.... sadly.

But I had to take a flyer.

Now to the final.

I got the 3 right in the margin difference for today's game, but was way out with the other 20 that made up the real difference.

Bokkies blueprint

1. Strike first and apply scoreboard pressure.

2. Give Kolbe jet shoes some attacking space.

3. Create as many line-outs as possible.

4. Give Kolbe jet shoes some attacking space.

Can’t find the post about the 6/2 split on the bench. But given that the Bokke method of kicking and turning the opposition around, they need 6 strong, and fresh forwards for the latter stages of the game.

Play in the English half and force them into errors. Convert the errors into points and voila...

I hear you...

Still don't feel need for 5 locks (incl steph du doit).

IMO More critical is a accurate backup goal kicker for a WC final . I'd like to see jantjies or willemse on the bench.

I was very nervous for losing Pollard to injury in the Semi. Only Steyn is a reasonable goal kicker in the remaining 22. Although, didn't Faf kick for poles a couple of times for the Lions?

I think Rassie played his odds on that one. He knew Pollard wouldn't face contact that much due to Faf doing the bulk of the kicking and he himself hasn't been injury prone.

I have no idea what Rassie has up his sleeve for the final, but in about 16hours the fun win start on the pitch.

Can't wait.

My heart says Bokke, but my mind says England.

At least we are playing in the decider, everyone in SA should be proud of that whatever the outcome.

Wholesome interview

Quirky as hell too

Great interview. I liked the fact that they took the 3rd place play off seriously. Even after the loss last week Hansen refused to get sucked into the classic whine of playing a dead rubber. They are professionals and they owe it to the fans to take every game seriously and give their best. Many teams always complain that they should get rid of the 3rd place playoff. I disagree. Its an opportunity to leave the tournament on a high and make the fans proud. Hansen is a class act!
