2 x Sani2c actually - little bracelets for lack of a better word given to riders at the start of Day 2.

And you are also correct with the Trans profile sticker.

Who leaves rattly bits of jewelry on their bikes for more than 2 years?

After the giant bicycle spotted thread I reckon the OP wants to get some input before telling us. Just now some dude in overalls with running shoes was seen riding it.............. It is Friday after all.

It's exactly one of those where I was confronted with my own prejudices and judgements - completely incongrous picture the details of which aren't relevant. I joked with the guy about how tough the transbaviaans is and he didn't know what I was talking about. All of the tensions dicussed in the other threads on this topic were present - he knew I was suspicious and he knew why and I knew he knew.

He answered the burning question by saying that it was his bosses bike which I didn't know whether to believe or not.

Ghastly encounter full of all of the tensions that plague us.

Exactly. But I guess the decider would be if he had socks up to his knees or not. Or is that only triathletes?

It looks in "mint" condition.

Most Spezs would look mint after a few races. Usually to be found at the rear end watching scenery and enjoying race snacks. You might find a few crumbs and Coke stains on the top tube.  :whistling:

Or some tar rash from a fall on the road while out "training"

The top tube is probably not the best place, a little too round.

Should have offered to buy it off him before he answered the question..... then you would have known.  If he agreed your suspicions were possibly right... if he said it was his bosses and not for sale.... then no reason not to believe
