Anyone know where i can find the stage7 crossword chaos on YouTube? The whom e stage is a torrent on tiz cycling, but just that part would be nice to see

Tadej's form is one thing. Race craft is another.

His bike handling skills, well, he saved crashing into the barriers after losing sight of the summit bending right. Remarkable save.

He used the yellow train so well as a 'free-lancer'. Had the strength to stick. Made an early dig, assessed who is following. He must have conserved energy for the final burst sufficiently enough to follow Hirschi, who sprinted to the line with the perfect flyer. Then won the stage. The young Slovenian won the weekend for sure. This after yesterday's massive effort to claw back some time on GC.

Chapeau, Roglic, in donning the Yellow Fleece.

All in all, beautiful racing! Phew! Now for rest day and what protocols goes with that in the 2020 edition.

Having Aru there in the backend would have been handy, going to be interesting seeing the yellow train and inepos handling him from here on. Edited by Shebeen

I see what you did there

Me too. This has been a fantastic first nine days!

Fantastic edition thus far.

Some requests for the next two weeks:

-Stage win by Impey or Gibbons

-WvA showing the sprinters up once more

-A tight battle for Green

-A Thomas De Gendt breakaway masterclass

-Pinot solving his back-problem and romping to a stage victory

Some requests for the next two weeks:

-Stage win by Impey or Gibbons <- I wouldn't mind both but if I have to go for one it'll be Gibbons as a sporting karmic reward for continuing to race with broken ribs.

-WvA showing the sprinters up once more <- I can see this happening, he has had a very successful 2nd tour

-A tight battle for Green <- Here's to hoping it'll be that way. Sagan's does have some good strong opposition this tour, plus he may be holding back in order to be successful at the Giro D'Italia

-A Thomas De Gendt breakaway masterclass <- Wouldn't mind seeing Stuyven and Hirschi joining him if he does go for it.

-Pinot solving his back-problem and romping to a stage victory <- We might need a miracle for that but with him being French that kind of miracle could happen, it's been that kind of year.

Jury report on stage 9 #TdF2020:

Hirschi got a 20" GC penalty + 200 CHF fine for accepting aid in the final 20 kilometers (same rule Alaphilippe was sanctioned for). DS gets 1000CHF fine.

Hirschi, Rojas and Trentin get 200CHF fine for littering.

I wondered if that would happen when I saw it.

The race has been just up the road from us for the last 2 days (well within driving distance anyway) and I'm too tied up with work to have been able to go :-(

The Vuelta is due to pass through Ainsa though - so that's going to be good :-)

If Sagan continues to look so pap, and Bennet (and more?) bail in the big mountains... He may just win green by taking the odd win anyway. He's only what .. 20 points behind?

Can't even think of a team who secured both Yellow and Green in recent times?

Yep, only 27 points behind. Stage 11 might suit him once more.

Primoz is obviously the main objective, but it would be interesting to know what kind of team discussions are had when/if he pipes up one day and says this is a good looking stage and I'd like to have a go.

He doesn't quiiite strike me as the chap who'll go full 100% sacrifice mode for the team. Just a feeling...
