here we go - this is not good.  I think what has been pulled off this season is almost miraculous

Sadly I just cannot see the Giro finishing.  Getting to the point where it's not healthy

With a host of races already canned, including a big one in Roubaix, we need to make peace with it that more will be cancelled as these numbers in Europe climb, as well as the amount of positives within the peloton.

Can we maybe ask that Flanders still happens, just as a last hoorah before we call 2020 done...?

All the Rona....

I reckon they should pack up and start again in 2021.

Seriously. The stress involved for everyone must have them all 25 steps closer to cancer every day.

Go home, be with your families, cut your losses and start again.

This is unhealthy in so many ways

Well Ineos came alive when Thomas dropped out, maybe Jumbo can do the same now...

(desperately searches for a silver lining  )

Don't know who can light it up though...

Maybe we can have Tony Martin go into the attack of the day... It was such a fun day when he and a young Julian Allaphillipe went up the road at the TDF. It didn't last, but was fun to see the Peloton panic.

True, I don't know most of the okes in this team anyway. Van Emden maybe, but he's no spring chicken anymore.

Sunweb have yet to release a statement..wonder if they are still deciding what to do..isolate the whole team or continue minus whichever rider has tested positive

It better happen I am literally about to fly out there now. The amount of paperwork I and the team had to do to get into Belgium for starters from Spain, I hope its not all in vain and I land, have dinner and fly home.

Getting hot in Flanders as we speak, but seems they will only go to Code Orange tomorrow(Wednesday). Which limits inside sport activities.

Very high chance Ronde will take place and then they will close things down next week if they then decide to step up another level.

"Weyts – who is also in charge of Sports in Flanders – also announced that the sports sector throughout Flanders will move to code orange from Wednesday, meaning that indoor sports activities in which a 1.5 metres distance cannot be kept, will be banned for anyone over 12 years old.

Organising competitive basketball matches, for example, is no longer possible, but contactless games, such as singles tennis, can still take place.

Fitness and training activities where 1.5 metres distance can be kept are also still possible. Showers and changing rooms will close, except in swimming pools."

Suppose if it is sunny they may push on but if it rains or snows things may get complicated if the temps are too low[emoji2368]

heard on the cycling podcast that temp in Bormio were around freezing in the past days. And that's before anyone's even gotten onto the Stelvio... One wonders how Hannibal crossed the Alps with elephants
