Hi hubbers

I at looking at getting a new Bike Light an am considering this:

https://www.rydercycling.co.za/ryder-products/lights/900-lumen-front-detail

Does any know how wide the beam is? I can't find any information on this on the interweb.

I am wanting a Wide Beam for MTB night riding not a SPOT light. I have lights similar to the Marvel Pro 900 and Streak lights but I am looking for a strong Light and Battery in one.

 Thanks for your input.

Go for the Ryder Light Concept 1000 rather, much broader beam than the 900.

What BiL said  except I think  he/she means the Orion 1000

Thanks for your input, the 'Orion 1000' has an external battery the 'Ryder Light Concept 1000' has the internal ( and Replaceable ) that i am looking for.

Another vote for Lezyne, the build quality is fantastic!

I bought the Lite Drive 800XL from EvoBikes.

Please note, I do road biking.

Thanks Andrew, this looks great, I will add it to my comparison.

I have a similar light to your Marvel Pro on my bars, and then use the Ryder 900 strapped to my helmet.  The combination works well, the Ryder gives a fairly even spread, wide beam, that helps with peripheral vision, the light on the bars then lights up the path ahead.

On its own, I'm not sure I'd be too confident to tackle anything technical, though for riding dirt roads at night, it is fine.

I have a Lezyne Deca Drive 1500i or something...it's great. But a lil pricey...not too bad...However, having been with someone with one of these recently, I would FAR rather recommend this.

They are great and with a lil eBucks...buy 2. One for bars and one for lid and you can shred trails at night no problem :)

Thanks Thermophage, a little out of the budget range and no internal battery.

I current have a similar setup with MagicShine 1000lm headlamp ( with external Bat) on my lid and and MagicShine 1000lm  bar mount ( with External Bat) on my bars, I bough them about 10 years ago. The lights still work great but I am looking to simplify with the internal Batteries.
